I have been getting WTVM on digital 9.1 for...uhh...ever. Well tonight, I am getting the WTVM Program Guide on 9.1 but I am getting the feed for WLGA. So instead of the 2 hour season premier of Grey's Anatomy I am being treated to "Great Balls of Fire".... What's up with this, anybody else experiencing this?

Are you getting it OTA or through cable? I should have mentioned I'm getting it OTA. Same thing on my stand alone digital OTA receiver in my bedroom and my DirecTV box in the living room.

I'm getting it OTA. Getting 9.1 and 9.2. Have you tried actually going to channel 11?

Going to channell 11 does nothing, Directv boxes are goofy....
But, I have an update, I went through the initial setup on my Diretv box, and I re-initialized my antenna setup. Now I am getting WTVM back on 9.1 and I am now getting WLGA on 66.1. I guess WLGA is finally broadcasting a digital signal from the Columbus tower. The messup must have had something to do with the fact that WLGA changed from digital 31 to 47. And WTVM changed from 47 to 11. It's weird that I just now experienced this issue months after the analog to digital switchover.
I know WLGA was broadcasting analog from Columbus for a long time, but until tonight I never got a digital signal from them... did they just start broadcasting digital from the Columbus tower?

I thought they changed to broadcasting digital from cusseta when the switch happened but i'm not 100% on that.
I figured it had something to do with wlga being 47 and your box still mapping that to 9.1. Not sure why that would just happen now. But that's why I said try manually going to 11. I'm using a direct tv box right now and tried it. Didn't realize that since i was already on 9.1 that it didn't actually do anything. It went back to 9.1 so I assume it worked not realizing it just cancelled out. My old zenith allows you to enter the actual channel number.

I had the same exact problem...missed Flashforward and Grey's....
Ran the Initial Setup, and no joy...same problem.
Is there a way to tell Directv the exact channel to tune? Seems their guide is bonkers.
I am trying another round with RESET first. Let's see.

OK, wlga is banished back to channel 66, but still no sign of wtvm.
What zip code are you typing in? Maybe I will try a downtown code? I'm in Harris county also.

I had exactly the same problem when they changed over. Had to keep fiddling with my antenna and rescanning. Even now reception can be inconsistent.

They switched over around the time of The Big Switch. I've been able to pick them up now for a while (not that I care anymore since they don't broadcast The CW or HD)... Were you receiving WTVM-DT prior to now, but after The Big Switch? Sorry to bring up this thread from last week, but I didn't get to check here last week... ~Alan

Yes, we received it on seemingly the same channel since the switch. Then, the new TV season starts and they moved somewhere. Maybe the answer is on their website?

The WTVM engineer said they have identified a problem with the directv boxes not releasing the old mapping for the station. As we discovered here, he said you need to completely reset the receivers for the local scan so that it can get the correct information.

Still no WTVM for me. I have tried: * DirecTV * TivoS3 HD * Directly tuning the TV None of them detects a signal. Anyone know how to manually enter channel 11 on a TV? Mine goes to analog 11. Thanks!

Usually to manually tune you need to also enter the -1 or .1 as well.
