I pick up ABC perfectly. Great reception and picture quality. How anyone had problems with FOX? I can pick it up but station alway fades in and out and never gets above 2-3 bars on signal strength when I look at the strength meter on my tv. As far as CBS and NBC I can't pick up at all. The engineer at NBC said they have a strong signal and I should be able to pick it up if I am receiving ABC's signal. I am located in Phenix City at the highest point off Summerville Rd so elevation shouldn't be an issue. When will that new tower be done in Cusseta and what channels will that affect? Thanks everyone.

What kind of antenna are you using? Also is it indoors? If so you probably want to look into using an outdoor antenna for now. All our stations are still running low power so their coverage area is not that wide. Where I live (Jordan/Johnson area) I cannot get all the stations with an indoor antenna. But I get them very well with an antenna on the roof (channel master 4221)
As far as I know the new tower in Cusseta is going to be used by WLGA and I think WRBL might be moving onto it as well but i'm not sure about that.
By the way WTVM is currently the most powerful of the digital broadcasts here.

Mike is right you need an outdoor antenna, I use a Channel Master 3018 (I bought it at Lowes) I live in Phenix City also, close to Smiths Station. I pick up all the stations with CBS being the weakest. You can go to www.antennaweb.org and find out where the towers are located from your house. Point your antenna towards the CBS tower and you should get all channels clear.

I did an install in St. Andrews, which is at a very high point in Phenix City, and I could not get any digital signals using an outdoor dish mounted antenna. I had problems there 2 years ago also with analog signals, so it was kind of expected for me, and luckily the owners don't watch much local anyway. But there is something stange over there I think that causes some major interference. If you ever find out why let me know so I can correct their problem as well.

I too live in Phenix City off of Summerville Rd. I get ABC, NBC and FOX with an indoor antenna (Zenith Silver Sensor) and a Radio Shack amplifier but I can't get CBS. When I move the antenna outside I can pick up CBS. Lately FOX seems to come and go.
