We were having a little fun last night trying different antennas. Got very good results on WXTX with nothing but a Dr. Pepper can!

We were having a little fun last night trying different antennas. Got very good results on WXTX with nothing but a Dr. Pepper can! I found this rather interesting as today has allowed me to pick up WRBL-DT and WTVM-DT for the first time this early in the day, and for the first time in stormy weather. I have never been able to pick up WRBL-DT before 12:00 A.M., but I'm getting a signal of 89 on WRBL-DT at this time of 3:55 P.M. I've never been able to pick up WTVM-DT before the time of 7:00 P.M., and usually it's later than that, if I can manage to pick it up... but as of 3:56 P.M., I'm picking up a signal of 87. I have NEVER been able to pick up WTLZ-DT before, but as of 3:58 P.M. today, I'm getting a signal of 52. Shame it's not during HD hours, as I'd love to see more of a non-multicasted NBC affiliate. However, I have NEVER, EVER gotten even a BLIP on the signal meter for WXTX-DT... and it took me until today to realize that that was probably due to the "Grade B" signal I receive from WTLH's (out of Bainbridge) analog signal that broadcasts on analog channel 49. ~Alan
