How's it going everyone? I got a HD box from Mediacom this year and I have to say, I love it. Watching all my stations in 1080i is a real treat in HD...but I've been wondering about a few things now Ever since the CW merged with WLTZ, I don't get that station anymore (meaning no more Smallville). The standard def stations I do get look worst on my HDTV than my SDTV and I don't get a lot HD channels listed on Mediacom's website (such as TBS, USA, Sci-Fi, FX, Bravo and etc). I know some channels are not availabe for all areas but I would love to watch more of my favorite shows in HD lol. I have nothing against Mediacom but I've been thinking getting Sattelite as my HD provider. I wanna wait to see if Mediacom will offer more in the future though...just wondering if anyone else has their cable service and any recommendations. I apperciate any feedback

If you want a lot of HD, satellite is the way to go. I haven't really been keeping up but i know when I had cable in columbus, mediacom was way behind the other two in number of channels. There was even awhile when they only had one or two of the locals in HD.
