Does anyone find it as annoying as I do to have the weather graphics over all programming all the time for a simple watch? Especially since it is always has to be done over the SD feed. I guess they don't have the funds for the equipment to make that happen over the HD feed. Times like this is why I love watching TV shows over the internet. Wish there was a way to watch live programming like NASCAR over internet- I would boycott network TV altogether.

Yep and every email i've ever sent to WRBL about this has gone unanswered. They seem to be the worst offender, even in the past putting up a "fog advisory". Supposedly they are required by the FCC to put these warnings up however I don't think I've ever seen WLTZ put up a weather advisory. Even though they have the capability to do it over HD.

I think WTVM might have WRBL beat with imposing graphics and disrupting the HD feed and they apply the same to Fox54. Two things I don't understand. 1. WTVM has a weather channel 9-2, use it for minute to minute updates for weather. 2. THE OTA HD signal only transmits so far, and in many cases the storm watches/warning are in area's 50 miles or more from Columbus and their HD signal doesn't reach that far. I live in North Columbus and every time the wind blows I get low signal strength.
