My father lives in northern Talbot County. With a CM 4228 antenna, he can pick up all Atlanta channels. He can pick up WTVM but no other Columbus stations. He does not have a rotor but the man who put it in for him turned it towards Columbus before setting it on Atlanta. Even turned towards Columbus, he could still only get WTVM. He can pick up WMAZ in Macon. Odd though that WTVM is the only Columbus station. Anyone else in outlying areas having that problem?

Sounds like a classic case of LOS issues. There are a lot of hills up that way, and likely there's a tall hill in the direction of Columbus.
WTVM is on a vhf channel, which can overcome small obstacles in the signal path. All the other Columbus channels are uhf, so if there's anything between you and the uhf towers, it'll be blocked.
